I’m Jesse.

And I think I’ve done just about everything I can think of to avoid becoming a writer:

{My body produced a cancer at age 17, but I survived. I went to school for musical theater. I sang and danced at a theme park. I lived in New York City and auditioned in line with 600 girls who looked exactly like me. I escorted rich white men to their private tables at restaurants while they carefully studied my butt. I coordinated events with little tiny lamb kebobs and fancy cocktails. I even went home with a Wall-Street type who could NOT guarantee that I wouldn’t get “American Psycho-ed,” even though I specifically asked.}

But here I am. I’m a writer. I like to write about my life because I’m so normal it hurts.
